Discover new products, rare models and exclusivities!
Are the Stan Smith, the Pump and the Air Max cult objects for you? Do you go into a trance every time you pass a sports shop, even though you don’t play any sports? On 6 and 7 September, the Centquatre will be your temple. For a weekend, the arty 19th century landmark will host France’s first Sneakerness, an event bringing together disciples of this art of dressing. The hundred or so stands present will include brands such as Puma, Veja, Adidas, BWGHor Les (Art)Ists as well as boutiques such as Starcow, Hub Bastille and Piils in Paris and Overkill in Berlin. Great collectors, such as JB, the biggest Air Force One fan in France, or The Tech Challenge Club, with its collection dedicated to Agassi, will also be present. In total, nearly 15,000 pairs of new and used shoes for men, women and children will be on offer.
The Sneakerness will be held on 6 and 7 September 2014 at the Centquatre, in the 19th arrondissement. Open on Saturday from 11am to 7pm and on Sunday from 11am to 6pm. Prices: €7 for one day, €10 for two days. Pre-sale tickets available here.
Among them, rare and even exclusive pearls, such as the model created for the occasion by Puma and sold in a limited edition of 150 pieces. On the entertainment side, a basketball basket competition and a battle of the most beautiful sneakers worn by visitors will punctuate the weekend. DJs Suppa, Uncle Tex and the Cousins Kashmiri will be in charge of the turntables, while the food truck Le Réfectoire will be busy in the kitchen. Launched in 2008 in Bern, the Sneakerness has since travelled across Europe, from Cologne to Warsaw, via Amsterdam, before taking its first steps in France this autumn 2014.
