The Beginning is a poetic manifesto to young love & spontaneous adventure. An ode to free spirited youth, the film takes you on the journey of a young women on her voyage to Los Angeles with a newly made friend.
From a small seaside town lined by the redwood forest, we follow a young woman on her voyage to Los Angeles to start a life of her own. Accompanied by a newly made friend we bring the audience on the journey with the two characters, sharing the intimate moments and the excitement of a spontaneous adventure. From campfires to hitchhiking, aerial views to close up smiles, to an arcade and dancing around in a pink inn room, we showcase the two losing themselves in visual feast shot in a voyeur style leaving the viewer feeling like they’re apart of the trip.
