After a year of absence, the 19th Salon Emmaüs will take place on Sunday, June 23, 2019 at the Porte de Versailles. This new edition promises to be particularly festive as it marks the 70th Emmaus’s anniversary, a movement created in 1949 by Father Pierre.
In 70 years, the movement has boosted the concept of the second hand, thanks to its many shops across France and the eshopwww.label-emmaus.co, thus contributing to do the thrift clothes the current trend that we know!
At a time of environmental emergency and overconsumption, Emmaus partners with Zero Waste France and takes part in the “Nothing new” challenge in order to consume otherwise by limiting the use of the planet’s resources.
At the trade show, visitors will be able to discover in real time on the Zero Waste France stand the co2’s quantity that they have saved by buying used clothes. Save the date !
