Carols Daughter, the famous American brand becomes the new acquisition of L’Oréal
The leading cosmetics group has announced the acquisition of the successful American brand Carols Daughter, aimed at the Afro public. Very popular in the USA, the brand is supported by several African-American celebrities such as Jay-Z, Marie J Blige and Cassie. The brand was created 21 years ago by Lisa Price and has grown over the years from door-to-door sales to a turnover of 27 million dollars. L’Oréal said: “This acquisition will allow L’Oréal USA to build a new division dedicated to multicultural beauty as part of our Consumer Products business.
