We were invited to an exceptional evening to discover the new instax mini link 3 printer at the Serpent à plume in Paris.
Iconic locations and immediate memories
Le Serpent à Plume is an iconic venue located on the Place des Vosges in Paris. It combines an art gallery, a café and a bar, a true hybrid space prized for its artistic touch and conviviality. The decor blends modernity with historical influences, creating a chic, bohemian atmosphere perfect for the event.
The instax link is a series of portable printers developed by Fujifilm that enable instant photos to be printed directly from smartphones, tablets or certain digital cameras. These printers use Fujifilm instax instant printing technology, which produces retro-style physical photos with vivid colours on special photo paper.
How the instax link operates
Instax Link printers connect wirelessly via Bluetooth to your smartphone or compatible device. You need to download a dedicated application available on Android and iOS that lets you edit photos before printing (adding filters, text, collages, etc.). They work with photo files saved in your phone’s gallery or with images taken live with the smartphone’s camera. This printing technology is used with Instax Mini, Instax Square or Instax film.
Instax gave us a moment that combined creativity and a lively atmosphere in one evening. We recommend that you get your camera so that you can create memories with family and friends. As André Hardellet would say: ‘a photograph is a memory in hibernation that denies the passage of time’.
