Jain’s musical influences are very diverse, we can hear it through her songs. From american hip-hop with artists like ASAP Rocky, Tupac, or Joey Badass, to Otis Redding’s soul music, she says that she is also influenced by African music. When she was young, her mother made her listen to artists like Youssou N’Dour, Salif Keita, Oumou Sangaré or Miriam Makeba, to whom she pay a tribute in through the song “Makeba”. You can see the new single “Heads Up” here !
