Nostalgic for some and new for others, the 90s and 2000s have left their imprint on the history of hip-hop. Once a month, come to a different venue to relive the old-school parties in Paris. Generations X to Z will be thrilled to the rhythm of the most memorable R&B and rap hits.
From influence to parisian party
At the helm of this event is Kenza Sadoun El Glaoui, a French-Moroccan entrepreneur, digital influencer and fashion expert. She made a name for herself with her blog, ‘La revue de Kenza’, which she launched in 2010. Over the years, her blog has become a platform where she shares content related to fashion, beauty, travel and lifestyle. Her unique style and aesthetic have attracted a large number of people, particularly in the fashion and luxury sectors.
Back to the classics
These evenings, which focus on the classics of the genre, wouldn’t be iconic if they didn’t feature the pioneers of French rap.
MC Driver, a French rap legend for 30 years, made his name thanks to Le Ministère amer, the Sarcelles collective with Passi, Stomy Bugsy and Doc Gynéco, offering an even more unique experience for fans of hip-hop culture or those of the old school.

They’re a great way to step back into an era that was once booming with French music legends like Diam’s and 113, not to mention US legends like Dr.dre, Public Enemy and many others. These evenings have become a must for fans of old school sounds.

Our opinion of the ‘Hands Down Party’ evening
The Hands Down Party lived up to our expectations in terms of getting back to basics.
The venue is popular, accessible to all and innovative, as each month the party takes place in a different arrondissement. Admission is free, with drinks available, and the evening runs from 7pm to 2am.
