Since his last album Dragon Slayer, produced with Hervé Salters of General Elektriks, and the explosive hit “The Bomb”, Pigeon John has continued his love affair with France. First as a guest on C2C’s Tetra album, Pigeon John then accompanied the DJ crew on many of their concerts and festivals to perform the track “Because of You” with them.
The adventure continues! Recorded between Berlin and California with Hervé Salters, the American MC has released his new album All The Roads, in France since Tuesday, with “Boomerang” as the first single.
Renewing his collaboration with his accomplice 20Syl (C2C, Hocus Pocus), John relates his wanderings, between his travels and his sentimental life in Yo-Yo. He imagines his life as an eternal restart, a return to square one, like a boomerang. 20Syl takes up the metaphor in a verse where he sees himself as the plaything of society. The presence of Frenchman 20Syl on some of the arrangements and his robotic voice alongside the electro keyboards, help make Boomerang a mesmerising track.
