Goals and missions

The All Women’s Sports Network (AWSN) is a digital platform dedicated to broadcasting women’s sports. Its main objective is to promote and broadcast women’s sporting competitions, which are often under-represented in the traditional media. AWSN highlights women’s sporting events, teams and athletes, providing in-depth coverage, analysis and exclusive content.

The aim is to bring visibility to female sportswomen and athletes by broadcasting women’s sports competitions, while highlighting their stories, performances and backgrounds. There is a lack of gender equality in sport and the channel wants to help promote gender equality in sport by giving sportswomen a platform equivalent to that of men in the media.
Accessibility and content will be varied, with not only matches and competitions, but also interviews, reports and series that delve into the world of women’s sport, both for sports fans and for a wider audience.

For the first time, female athletes, teams and leagues around the world will finally have a dedicated platform to showcase their performances, which are often overshadowed by their male counterparts.
