Steven Bedard is a twenty-four year old physiotherapist and model. He was born in Stuttgart and is half german half african american. He has three siblings, one of them is his twin brother. However he is the only one who was born with albinism, a congenital disorder, which causes the body to have a complete or partial absence of pigment in skin, hair and eyes. With it come many vision defects. As a child he was only able to see five percent with his eyes. (with 3% somebody is considered blind) His sight is very sensitive for the sunlight. Now he is able to see about twenty percent but it remains uncertain, if his eyesight stays like that, or goes worse. Steven began modeling a year ago as a hobby. Now he wants to make a career out of it and show the people who he is.
