A richly animated program
Sponsored by Yannick Alléno, the 2024 edition will focus on authenticity and the transmission of know-how. The three-Michelin-starred chef is a fervent advocate of mountain cuisine, which he sublimates in his restaurant 1947 at Cheval Blanc in Courchevel. His involvement promises to raise Toquicimes’ profile even higher.
Emmanuel Renaut, the event’s co-founder, will also be on hand. “I’m proud that Toquicimes has become a popular event so eagerly awaited by the general public and chefs alike, promoting mountain cuisine, its producers and local players. It’s a convivial and festive event, dealing with both the problems and the assets of the mountains”, he enthused.
The program includes a myriad of activities for all ages:
- Megève’s Best Fondue competition: a must for fans of melted cheese.
- The Best Pâté Croûte de Montagne competition: the art of sublimating this great classic.
- The “Je cuisine avec mon boxeur de chef” challenge: a fun mix of cooking and sport.
- Masterclasses and children’s workshops for young and old gourmets alike.
- A farmers’ market to discover the treasures of the mountains.
