This season, the Rêveur Lucide brand presents “Oxyde”, a collection that explores new methods of creation.
The name of the collection is dedicated to the study and development of dyes inspired by the phenomenon of metal oxidation. A patina of “oxide” is transferred to fabrics.
Scientific research is also applied to graphics where Atelier De Belair”s sartorial equipment is scanned and arranged to create a repeated pattern. The graphics elaborate on a plant known as ‘Calea zacatechichi’ which is native to Central America and Mexico and known to have virtues of enhancing lucid dreams when brewed as a tea.
The collection is the result of direct collaboration with people who specialise in each step of the garments. The differentiating factor in the creative process is precisely the presence of different individualities. Furthermore, this is the first of Victor Pellerin’s proposals for Rêveur Lucide to use the show format, adding a sense of detail to the clothes, but never neglecting its distinct intimacy and relationship with the wearer.
The brand’s intention is to highlight its multicultural heritage and does so through its choice of soundtrack. An original track by Cole 44coles Desfontaines Dorrestein and Diego Godie Lignel entitled “Lucid”. A sound bridge connecting continents and cultures.
