Orée was born out of the observation that modern technology products look the same, are impersonal and cold, made from environmentally unfriendly materials, and quickly become obsolete. Orée’s ambition is to offer a line of new, connected, personal and sustainable objects made of noble and natural materials. Orée aspires to reconcile tradition and modernity by creating exceptional objects thanks to the unique combination of advanced machining techniques and timeless know-how. These are eco-designed objects, handmade and finished in their workshop in Languedoc Roussillon.

Created by Julien Salanave, the technology entrepreneur, and Franck Fontana, a product designer specialising in remarkable craftsmanship and winner of several awards, they create each piece with pride and passion. The know-how passed down from generations of craftsmen allows them to respect and magnify the properties of the materials.
