Marie-Louise Mosso obtained her Master’s degree in Fine Arts in 2011, while also completing a degree in History.
That same year, she accepted the position of Art Gallery Manager that was offered to her, as a logical continuation of her career. Very quickly caught up by her true passion, Marie-Louise Mosso leaves her job to create her own clothing brand.
To this end, she attended several training courses on business management while accepting temporary assignments. It was during one of these assignments that something clicked. She met a director who, having no childcare solution that day, came to work with her 5-year-old daughter.
It was obvious: “women have several lives”! From then on, the idea of a modular garment that can be adapted to an active lifestyle was born. This concept is enriched by her childhood memories, her cultural education and her travels. It was decided that her clothes would be elegant, refined and modern “social armour” for women: Louise Mosso was born.
The Louise Mosso brand is designed and manufactured in France. The fabrics are essentially made from natural textile fibres and are carefully selected for their beauty and quality. Each garment is designed and manufactured in Parisian workshops by professionals who have worked with the great fashion houses (Dior, Céline, Jean-Paul Gaultier, John Galliano, Chloé, Chris Seydou, Christophe Lemaire…).
Paris is the brand’s primary source of inspiration. Like the Parisian woman, Louise Mosso’s clothes are a metaphor for the microcosm that is Paris: a city of history and the avant-garde, which adapts to everything and everyone without losing its identity. The brand also draws its inspiration from great artistic movements and works of art. Louise Mosso offers elegant, chic and refined silhouettes that are completely interchangeable and removable.
