After having collaborated with Karl Lagerfeld or David Lynch, Dom Pérignon presented a few weeks ago during the New York Fashion Week, the emblematic Vintage 2004 P2 with the young designer Iris Van Herpen for a collaboration entitled “Métamorphosis”. A true masterpiece, the young designer reinterpreted the delicious vintage with a box and an exclusive series of cases containing the bottle of Dom Pérignon Vintage 2004, whose label inspired her.

The box is called “Cocoonase” and is directly inspired by a butterfly cocoon, which can be compared to the metamorphosis of champagne over the years. The result of this collaboration lives up to expectations! Totally enchanting, notably thanks to the “green-dark” colour which is an important code symbolising the complexity of the wine, the Millésime has spent at least 8 years in the cellar maturing on its lees. Dom Pérignon decided that it should reach its second fullness, 16 years in the cellar, which is why a whole batch of bottles will be sent back to the cellar for a further ten years of maturation.
