Dior, Jacquemus…: this week’s not-to-be-missed news

    To mark Jonathan Anderson’s debut at Dior, the luxury fashion house is counting on Kylian Mbappé. Jacquemus makes its grand return to the Château de Versailles. Glossier, the cult cosmetics brand from the United States, is finally coming to France.

    Kylian Mbappé strikes a pose for Dior

    To mark Jonathan Anderson‘s debut for Dior, the luxury fashion house chose Kylian Mbappé to lend his image to the brand. In a series of refined shots, the captain of the French national team embodies elegance and class, between the rigour of a suit and controlled casualness. It’s a strategic collaboration that combines the footballer’s international aura with Dior’s new creative vision.

    Jacquemus at the Château de Versailles

    Simon Porte Jacquemus returns to Versailles with Le Paysan, a collection deeply rooted in his Provençal roots. Presented on June 29th in the Orangerie du Château, this intimate creation blends nostalgia and the rural world: the designer has recreated his childhood memories through a poignant visual campaign, faithfully reproducing the designer’s personal archive shots.

    The majestic setting of the Orangerie, chosen as a symbolic showcase, provides the backdrop for this dialogue between personal and historical heritage. With Le Paysan, Jacquemus pays sincere homage to rural life, reinventing it for today’s fashion.

    Glossier available in France

    Glossier is making its debut in Sephora shops in France. Since June 17, the cult American brand has been available in shops and online, with iconic products such as Boy Brow and Glossier You. This eagerly awaited arrival marks a turning point in the brand’s distribution strategy.
