A look back at the incredible Coperni show and its LAN Party, Duran Lantink could take over as creative director at Jean-Paul Gaultier, and singer Jennie (BLACKPINK) announces a concert in Paris.
There were plenty of surprises this week, from new announcements to a catwalk show that made a big impression. KODD magazine takes a look back at the week’s highlights.
Coperni’s Fall-winter 2025/26 show embraces gaming culture
You had to be there last Sunday evening at the Adidas Arena to experience the fashion event of the season. Coperni, lovers of improbable and spectacular shows, have once again hit it out of the park this season. The brand proved that it masters the codes of entertainment better than anyone else. When fashion meets the world of gaming, the result was a catwalk show in which two hundred gamers battled it out on a local network, seated at computer workstations throughout the show, while the models strolled down the aisles.
The show was a double tribute to the virtual and gaming worlds of the 1990s and 2000s. A total of 43 looks were on show. These included a top with a sailor collar and pleated miniskirt, a nod to the Japanese manga Sailor Moon, as well as cartridge belts and “Cargo” tights embroidered with plastic clasp pockets in reference to Lara Croft‘s emblematic skin (which means ‘outfit’ in video game parlance). This season, Coperni is transforming its famous bag into a portable console: a Swipe Case transformed into a blue, grey and black Tamagotchi. A collaboration that takes us back to our childhood. Other comical silhouettes, such as strapless down jackets, are also original. As well as references to virtual worlds, the collection adds a touch of grunge to its silhouettes. The brand collaborated with Ray-Ban Meta to reinvent the iconic Wayfarer as a connected object capable of instant filming.

His talents have been noticed by Parisian fashion house Jean-Paul Gaultier, for whom he has already begun working. This announcement is still awaiting confirmation from the house.
