ANDRES SARDA takes us back to the roaring 20s with its first fashion film, Who is She? . The high end lingerie brand opened MBFW Madrid with its FW2122 collection.
Andres Sarda opened the first day of the Mercedes Bens Fashion Show with the presentation of its first fashion film Who is She?. This film was inspired by five extraordinary women who, with their perseverance and talent, changed their destiny, have defined the new Andres Sarda Autumn-Winter 2021-2022 collection.
They are Raven Wilkinson, the first black female dancer of a major classical ballet company; Yuja Wang, a prodigy pianist who started playing at the age of six; Margaret Hughes, the first female actress of the British theater, a pioneer on the stage after the lifting of the ban on women actors; Tamara Rojo, a Spanish dancer who currently acts as the artistic director of the English National Ballet in London and Renata Tebaldi, the Italian dramatic soprano who, with her “angel voice”, moved people for decades while on stage.
An explosion of sensuality, elegance, and humor presented for the first time in the history of the brand in fashion film format.
Directed by the respected photographer and filmmaker Eugenio Recuenco and under the creative guidance of Nuria Sardá, Who is She ? is a surprising visual and sensorial antidote to navigating difficult times. Starring actress Lali Espósito and actor Enric Auquer – co-stars of Sky Rojo, Netflix’s latest sensation. Andres Sarda’s first fashion film is a promise of what’s to come: the party, celebration, and joy that invite us to leave our troubles behind. An optimistic and energetic musical fable, with choreography by Sebastián Linares and artistic direction and styling by Alberto Murtra, which highlights the power of culture to transform us and celebrates the energy of the Sarda women.
