The pink heart event organised by Kalia Nature is part of Pink October, the breast cancer awareness campaign.
This initiative aims to inform, support and bring women together around prevention and early detection of the disease.
With a pink heart, Kalia Nature promotes well-being and natural beauty as ways to reconnect with oneself during or after illness.
The influence of cosmetics on women
Cosmetics play an important role in shaping self-image and self-confidence for many women. They allow women to express their personality and meet social beauty standards that are often promoted by the media. However, this influence can also create aesthetic pressure and a sometimes complex relationship with the body. More and more brands are now promoting natural and inclusive beauty, valuing diversity. Thus, cosmetics reflect both a tool for empowerment and a mirror of societal expectations. Pharmacist and cosmetologist Mansouria Bourouina is a health professional specialising in the formulation, safety and efficacy of cosmetic products. Her role ranges from research and development to the marketing of dermo-cosmetic skincare products.
She also advises consumers on products suited to their skin type or certain skin conditions. During the event, she recommended that we check our cosmetic products on Cosmile Europe. In this way, she combines science, health and beauty to guarantee safe and effective cosmetics. We heard from Sandrine Coulibaly, founder of Belle & Care. She is an oncology nurse whose role is to support women in their fight against cancer. The association aims to improve the well-being of women affected by cancer through socio-aesthetic care workshops. The association travels to hospitals throughout the Île-de-France region and has no fixed headquarters. It relies on donations and the help of volunteers.

Testimonials and shared experiences
For pink heart, sharing real-life experiences humanises an often abstract subject. They offer moral support to those going through similar situations, showing them that they are not alone. Through personalised advice, they promote positive and authentic transformation. They inspire resilience and give confidence in the possibility of overcoming difficulties. This creates a bond of solidarity and kindness between women, based on listening and sharing.
