A year ago already, the first edition of the Open Mode Festival made more than 15 000 visitors. Open to all, it is the rendezvous not to be missed, it takes the opposite of Paris fashion shows and shows, often considered too elitist for the young creation and the general public.
The main objective of the festival is to put fashion at the heart of pop culture, while questioning major societal issues. Such as feminism, the fluidity of gender identities or the multicultural character of fashion and its impact on the environment.
Open Mode Festival is also fighting for an ethical, local and more responsible fashion. The most of the festival is the reinvention of the codes of traditional parades with parades-dances: waacking, break or contemporary dance come to sublimate the creations of the 22 creators and fashion designers of the festival.
See you on Friday 14th, Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th December, in the Grande Halle de la Villette, Paris 19th.
