“Sur la côte” marks the return of Lpee in collaboration with his partner since “Les Tontons Flingueurs”, Moken.
They meet again on a ballad which imitates the car ride with a love story. The accident at the end describes the relationships as resolutely impossible in the eyes of the authors.
Lpee, a young rapper from the North-East of Paris, is the 9th member of the Tontons Flingueurs, a rap collective that gathers artists from different cities, mainly from the North-East of Paris and its close suburbs.
Being passionate about writing since the age of 13, his rap is distinguished by its precision, as much in the rhymes as in the themes he develops. This is what makes him unique. He has to his credit 3 group projects, as well as an EP in duo with Lucci PL1106 and his first solo EP released in April 2018, entitled Monochrome .
While waiting for Monochrome Vol 2 to be released next spring, he will release in July 2020 a 3-track 100% rap album entitled Triptyque.
