Kendrick Lamar face of Chanel’s Spring-Summer 2025 collection
Chanel is continuing its collaboration strategy, unveiling its new Spring-Summer 2025 campaign for its sunglasses line. After calling on the services of singer Angèle, the Parisian fashion house has now teamed up with American artist Kendrick Lamar. A major figure on the American rap scene, the artist lends his image to the collection, in a campaign photographed by Karim Sadli.
With this choice, Chanel is reinforcing its marketing positioning by targeting new generations. By betting on a personality whose influence goes beyond music, the house is part of a wider cultural dynamic. Kendrick Lamar, awarded the Pulitzer Prize in 2018 for his album DAMN, confirms his literary influence.

Louis Vuitton chooses Avignon for its next fashion show
For its next fashion show, Louis Vuitton has chosen the city of the Popes to unveil its 2026 Cruise collection. Scheduled for 22 May, the event will take place on the heights of Avignon, in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region. This choice of location is in line with the Parisian fashion house’s desire to “showcase this heritage site, whose construction began in 1335, while at the same time highlighting the spirit of culture and heritage discovery that characterises its Cruise line”.

At Coachella Tyla revives the Britney Spears style of the 2000s
From 11th to 13th April, the Coachella festival once again drew crowds with an exceptional line-up. This year, South African singer Tyla made her debut on stage at the famous festival. For the occasion, she opted for a look inspired by Britney Spears‘ unforgettable performance of I’m a Slave 4 U at the MTV Video Music Awards at the Metropolitan Opera House in New York on 6 September 2001. Tyla wore a similar outfit: a green bra and blue mini-shorts, adorned with sequins, rhinestones, feathers and scarves, completed with sparkling earrings, hand jewellery and a navel piercing.
Tyla revived Britney Spears’ iconic outfit, bringing out the Dolce & Gabbana archives. She wore a green floral bra, paired with denim shorts stitched with green beaded fringes, crystal-embellished body jewellery and a belly-button piercing, a modern nod to the cult performance.
