This is a story of opposing sides – black and white, looking in and looking out, going up and going down, what is on this side and what is – the other side. The images visually play with perspective, viewpoint and reflections to create scenes within scenes… a deserted city street in a diner window, a gathering of people revealed in a black jacket, hands that reach both ways, or a slender tree that separates two buildings, but one of the buildings is just a mirage.
