We continue our three year anniversary with Tea Heritage, a brand of small tea bags with unique and original designs. Her creator, Elodie, mixed her passion for the journeys, the sewing and the tea to create an original packaging for this drink. Her small bags are shaped as clouds, planes or even cactus are all the rage for the tea and original designs lovers… And also at Kodd Magazine!
Tea Heritage began in February, 2013 in Lyon where is based the workshop in which are made the numerous tea bags, on the slopes of the Croix-Rousse. It is her diverse influences, in particular of her grandmothers, that brought Élodie to create Tea Heritage. One gave her the passion for the tea, the other one for the craft activities. And on a Valentine’s day, while she looked for heart-shaped tea bags unsuccessfully, that she had the idea to produce them gerself. She took the plunge, and near 4 years later, the success of the small bags is always there. And she is still surrounded with those who contributed to the creation of her company.
The collections of tea bags of Tea Heritage are inspired by the trends, but also by the childhood or the various journeys of her creator. And her tea is imported from Asia, and respecting the ethics of the local workers in the plantations. Thanks to a recent participative financing, Tea Heritage received some support to be able to get bigger, and answer to the (very) numerous orders. Indeed, these small tea bags had such success that stocks ran out. What should not happen anymore !
