A leather professional, Jonathan Cukierman has been making leather clothes for the biggest designer brands for almost ten years.
This gives him the freedom to refine his expertise in leather, being always on the lookout for more exceptional skins, more innovative tanning techniques. The designer launched his own label at the end of 2014, and offers a high-end line of Leather and Fur, thought as a ready-to-wear line.
Jonathan challenges the techniques of leather manufacturing; he combines the exception of the noblest skins and the prowess of assembly to create exceptional models, at the cutting edge of fashion. Relying on manufacturing methods close to the craft industry, he works with plunged lambskin and exotic leathers, and creates models with very elaborate cuts: fittings close to the body, reversible multifunctional leathers, play on volumes, mix of materials. As an avant-garde designer, he popularised the use of futuristic materials such as machine-washable stretch leather.
The Autumn-Winter 2015 Women’s Collection imposes resolutely modern cuts, for a chic and contemporary silhouette. Oversized coat in kangaroo, sleeveless waistcoat in curly lamb, tailored jacket adorned with Mongolian lamb and silver fox; each piece is remarkable, as are the striking colours of the collection: cobalt blue, blood red and bright orange.
