Sports enthusiasts should visit Brookyln Fitboxing to practise the noble art. A blend of technology, sport and humanitarianism to inspire people to excel.
An innovative boxing concept
Located at 16 avenue Hoche in the 8ᵉ arrondissement of Paris, this gym offers an innovative idea combining non-contact boxing and fitness. Sessions are 47 minutes long and combine rounds of punching on bags to the beat of music and functional exercises, aimed at improving cardio and muscle strengthening. The punching bags are fitted with sensors that measure energy, power and timing, enabling participants to track their progress via a dedicated app.
For those wishing to discover the concept, a trial session is available for €14.95, with free gloves and straps. Bookings can be made directly via the Brooklyn Fitboxing app or on the website.
Solidarity commitments in sport
Sport and charity work are often linked, as sport promotes values such as surpassing oneself, solidarity and mutual aid, which resonate with those of charity work. Sports clubs and events attract large communities and can raise public awareness of important causes. They are a powerful tool for combating social exclusion, promoting equal opportunities and encouraging healthy lifestyles, particularly among young people and vulnerable groups, especially in the fight against violence against women and bullying at school.
Brooklyn Fitboxing’s Hit4Change foundation combines the energy expended during sessions with points, which are then converted into donations for charities chosen by the participants.

Our opinion on the concept
This concept is a virtuous circle in which sport is used as a lever for solidarity actions, while at the same time strengthening the commitment of participants! Associating physical activity with a good cause motivates participants and reinforces their feeling of belonging to a committed community. Our session was for children with cancer. I can tell you that it makes you want to push yourself.
